Dr. Tate chose to stay in the Hoosier state and pursue his undergraduate studies at Indiana University-Bloomington. While at IU he majored in Biology, satisfying requirements for the pre-medicine program. He attended chiropractic school at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL outside of
Growing up in rural southern Indiana
Dr. Tate chose to stay in the Hoosier state and pursue his undergraduate studies at Indiana University-Bloomington. While at IU he majored in Biology, satisfying requirements for the pre-medicine program. He attended chiropractic school at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL outside of Chicago obtaining a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine degree upon graduation in 2011.
Dr. Tate has completed post-graduate training with a focus on functional medicine and rehabilitation. This includes additional training in nutrition, corrective exercise, and modalities such as Dry Needling, Kinesio taping/strapping and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization/Graston therapy. He has obtained certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA in 2014, which has afforded him the ability to apply scientific knowledge to help athletes and anyone else looking to improve athletic performance. His love for animals along with his family's background in Veterinary Medicine led him to pursue certification and licensure as a certified animal chiropractor through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association in 2016.
